Our Westie puppies do not usuallyleave our home untill they are 10 weeks old. This is to enable them to learn social skills from their mother . And as you can see. all the other behaviors that make a Westie a REAL Westie! Pups aren't being kept in this gravel kennel all the time . They are kept in our home but as the weather warms up I feel it important they get out in the fresh air. We try to keep the puppies off the grass.
